Sheep & Goat Feed in Ghana
Ready Farm Feed small ruminant rations arrive finished β 14% crude protein, balanced for growth and fattening, nothing to add. Milled at our Kokofu mill in the Ashanti Region and bagged at 50kg.
What's in the bag β and what isn't
Built around maize and copra cake, with milled maize stover as the fibre carrier. Ground to spec on our own hammer mill at Kokofu β maize at 4β5mm so it stays coarse enough to avoid acidosis, stover chopped and screened at 6β8mm so animals cannot sort it out and waste it.

| Class | Head | kg/day |
|---|---|---|
| Dry / pregnant does | 18 | 5.40 |
| Lactating does | 4 | 2.00 |
| Bucks | 2 | 0.80 |
| Growers & kids | 6 | 1.20 |
| Total | 30 | 9.40 |
9.4 kg/day Γ 30 days = 282 kg, plus 5% wastage β 6 bags per month.
Can I feed this to kids and lambs under 4 months?
Not the urea-containing formulation. Ask for our urea-free blend for young stock β urea is unsafe for animals whose rumen is not fully developed.
Is it mash or pellets?
Standard supply is mash. Pelleted is available on request for bulk orders and cuts feed waste substantially.
How should I store it?
Off the ground on pallets, dry and ventilated, used within 6 weeks. The copra cake contains residual oil that goes rancid in high humidity.
